What We Handle
Bird and wildlife work is mostly legal compliance and structural engineering - not "removal". The aim is to make the building permanently unattractive while respecting the species' protection status.
Stainless steel spikes, post-and-wire, gel deterrents and 50mm netting on parapets, ledges, signage and solar panels. Manufacturer-warranted up to 10 years.
Roof-mounted netting, ledge spiking and licensed egg/nest management for commercial premises across Liverpool, Wallasey and the Wirral coast.
Knotted, UV-stable netting for warehouses, loading bays, car parks, courtyards and listed buildings. Fitted to structure-specific anchor systems.
PPE-controlled clean-down of pigeon and gull deposits. Treated as biohazard waste under EA registration. Surfaces sanitised before any proofing goes in.
Non-lethal proofing of decking, sheds, garden voids and outbuildings, plus removal of attractants. Humane deterrent strategies for gardens and commercial yards.
Bats, badgers and barn owls are protected. We work alongside licensed ecologists to deliver compliant solutions without breaching wildlife legislation.
How We Work
Roost mapped, species confirmed, structure assessed, Wildlife Act check, written specification produced.
Guano and nesting material removed under PHE protocols, surfaces sanitised, hazardous waste documented.
Spikes, post-and-wire, gel or netting installed to the structure. Manufacturer-warranted, weather-tested fixings.
Photographic evidence, materials spec, warranty paperwork and Wildlife Act compliance notes supplied for the file.
Pairs With
Birds in soffits, eaves and around flue terminals usually mean nesting material, parasites and guano in the loft below. Bird-proofing the outside and decontaminating the loft is almost always a paired job.

Active nests of wild birds - pigeons, gulls, sparrows, starlings - are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 while in use. We survey first, plan proofing for outside the breeding season, and use licensed methods where action is needed during it. Every job is paperwork-backed.
Proofing - not killing. We map the roost and feeding pattern, then install the right deterrent for the structure: stainless steel spikes, post-and-wire systems, bird netting (knotted, UV-stable, 50mm or 28mm mesh), gel deterrents and, for warehouses, raptor-pattern flash systems. A proper proofing job lasts 10+ years.
Yes. Guano isn't just dirty - it harbours psittacosis, salmonella and histoplasmosis spores, and the uric acid corrodes lead flashing, paintwork and stonework. We decontaminate to PHE protocols, in full PPE, and dispose of guano as a hazardous waste stream.
Herring and lesser black-backed gulls are a major issue across Liverpool, Wallasey and the Wirral coast. We work with commercial landlords and managing agents on full-roof netting systems, post-and-wire installations and egg/nest management under the appropriate licences.
Yes - non-lethally where possible. Foxes are usually managed through proofing of decking, sheds and outbuildings, plus removal of attractants. Badgers are a protected species under the Protection of Badgers Act 1992 - we work with licensed ecologists and never disturb a sett without the right paperwork.
Every job. We supply photographic evidence, site plans showing proofing locations, materials specifications, manufacturer warranties (typically 10 years on netting and spike systems) and the relevant Wildlife and Countryside Act compliance notes.
